Currier House.
The Thomas Currier House was built during the first period in Amesbury, MA, as a half, two-story end chimney house. Later in the eighteenth century, new construction creating a full two story Georgian center chimney dwelling measuring 27' 6” deep and 40’ 6” in length. Ceiling height on the first floor is 7’ 3” and on the second floor 6’ 10”. Both pine frames comprising the structure are in good condition. The early rooms retain many period features; featheredge walls, raised paneled doors and a corner cupboard. Board sheathing remained in other parts of the house. Much of the flooring is unpainted. The owner will include addition materials to complete the house. It has been dismantled.
